Red for Danger!
Bright red berries on a creeping vine brighten up this bridleway by Coles Copse. But these are the berries of Black Bryony (Tamus communis) - poisonous (as in very nasty but probably not fatal). [Thanks - Alan Fryer]. .

Robin Hood Arch
Lovelace Bridge, now between two private properties. Why the arch is named after the historical folk hero is unknown.

Lovelace Bridge, Robin Hood
Seen from the north-west, the renovated bridge has a substantial flint parapet with curved tiling. The bridleway underneath will get harder for ramblers to navigate as horses hooves churn up the wet winter clay.
