The Barley Mow
Ancient pub in West Horsley, where an inn has stood since the 16th Century. Its old names were The Mount Eagle and The Harrow. The present name was given soon after 1750 - it housed its own brewery then. Note the tile-hung upper storey, typical of Surrey.

Topiary at The Old Cottage, West Horsley, Surrey
The Box, used in this topiary, is traditionally clipped on Derby Day. I suspect that only the house owners, and neighbours, know whether the tradition is upheld in this lovely garden.
