The side walls of this village centre pub still carry the former brewers' name - Hodgson of Kingston. A hairdresser now shares the inn. Beyond is the village church tower, St Nicholas.

The "Square-about", Great Bookham
The road sign before you reach this feature says "Give Way". There are no formal rules about who gets precedence when there is traffic from different directions. Generally the good people of Great Bookham are courteous (with some exceptions during the school run) and take it in turns to use the junction.
