The "Square-about", Great Bookham
The road sign before you reach this feature says "Give Way". There are no formal rules about who gets precedence when there is traffic from different directions. Generally the good people of Great Bookham are courteous (with some exceptions during the school run) and take it in turns to use the junction.

Pub at the junction of High Street and Lower Road, rebuilt in 1932. The previous pub on the site, the Crown, dates back until at least the mid 19th Century, being shown on the 1869 1:2500 map.
