Late April in Post House Close
A very consistent month for weather, the lowest rain since 1938. Most days it was chilly early on, sunny all day but often windy https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/binaries/content/assets/metofficegovuk/pdf/weather/learn-about/uk-past-events/summaries/uk_monthly_climate_summary_202104.pdf

Bookham Telephone Exchange, Surrey
Situated in Church Road, this redbrick TE serves Effingham, Great Bookham and Little Bookham. Looking at the brickwork, the front building would probably have been the former Manual TE, whilst the extension behind it was added possibly during the 1960s to house the Strowger equipment for the TE to be converted to automatic working. This equipment was later replaced when the TE went digital. It has (01372) 45xxxx numbers and its postcode is KT23 3JP.
