One of a pair of large office blocks in Ryebrook Business Park on Kingston Road either side of Bay Tree Avenue, dating from the late 1990s (the other, Opus 2, is in the background). Proposals are in place (2019) to convert the building to residential use.

66 - 70 Kingston Road
Buildings on Kingston Road built in the 1920s/30s. The building on the left, no 70, now housing a sports shop and fitness centre, is marked on the 1963-4 1:2,500 map as a Co-operative Hall. From 1975 to 1987 it was the home of Surrey Sound Studios, set up by brothers Chris and Nigel Gray and used by a number of bands, including The Police, whose first two 2 albums, Outlandos d'Amour and Reggatta de Blanc were recorded here.

53 - 59 Kingston Road
Terrace on Kingston Road. Old Maps show that nos 53 - 57 were built in the late 19th Century and originally included a further house on the left, no 51, with the opening being central to the block. No 51 was demolished in the 1980s to improve access to the Ashetree Works behind, used by Ashe Laboratories who manufactured pharmaceutical, toiletry, hair care, dietary, veterinary, baby care products. The site was redeveloped in the 1990s by the building of Kings Court. The building on the right, no 59, is a redevelopment of an earlier building on the site.
