Unilever coach
The Anglo-Dutch conglomerate Unilever has a large office on Springfield Drive on the outskirts of Leatherhead, from which it operates a regular shuttle coach linking the offices with the railway station and town centre. Here the coach is seen negotiating a pinch point in North Street having just stopped at the bus stop outside Lloyds Bank (the building in the background).

1A - 5 North Street
Buildings on the west side of North Street. On the left are nos 1A and 1B, formed out of the former Congregational Church, the shortened frontage of which can be seen above. Built in the 1940s, this closed in the 1930s when a new church was built in Epsom Road (see Image). Subsequently the building (along with no 3 next door) formed the local branch of the Co-op. A former use of no 3 had been to house a branch of the London and County Bank. On the far right is the Penny Black, a pub housed in the former post office.
