Cross the Road

Leatherhead Telephone Exchange
Situated in Station Road, this redbrick building dates from the GPO era, although the extension behind it would have been added more recently. Besides Leatherhead, this TE also serves Fetcham, Headley and Mickleham nearby. The Royal Mail delivery office can be seen to the right of the photo, whilst an unusual lamp post together with a blue one way road sign are in front of the TE. The numbering range of this TE is (01372) 37xxxx, the (01372) referring to the Esher group of TEs, and its postcode is KT22 7AF.

Lidl
Leatherhead branch of Lidl supermarket in North Street. Opened in February 2007, it was built on the site of the Bull Hotel which had closed in the late 1990s and was eventually demolished in 2003.
