Notices, Mogador
A good set. The small one on the left hand gate reads "Mogador Pig Trap Site" and is courtesy of Southern Gas Networks, and is also shown, and explained, in Image The scrap on the gatepost relates to a cat that has been found; that was there in 2009, but alas the notice relating to wasps' nests has gone. What with adders, quite a menagerie.

The Sportsman sign
See Image for context. The Sportsman itself (see Image) is a couple of hundred yards to the north. Note the fox halfway up the post - it is in fact a metal "model" on a bracket, but the bracket has been bent. Post script: Compare Image for the sign in 2011.

The Sportsman Sign
Sign for The Sportsman (see Image), which is situated a couple of hundred yards to the north. Compare Image for the sign three years earlier - the pub was renovated in August 2008, and the new sign presumably dates from then. Note that the metal fox has been fixed (although now covered with ivy). Also the grit bin appears to have been rotated.
