Chessington Road, West Ewell
Chessington Road forms part of the route of the B284 road as it passes through West Ewell. This section of the road is one way heading south-eastwards. A second carriageway has been built for traffic coming the other way, this is behind the hedge to the right.
This image was taken in the late afternoon on a February day. The sun was low in the sky, resulting in long shadows, while trees were bare for the winter season.

Chessington Road, West Ewell
The road was shifted for some reason, making a complicated junction and small dead end rather than a simple road with others off it. The road was almost identical before with a roundabout so can't imagine why they had to go to so much trouble changing it all.
