Hogsmill River at Hogsmill Local Nature Reserve
The Hogsmill River is a chalk stream since most of its water comes from the dip-slope springs at Ewell. The Hogsmill River has for long filled an important role in the history of Ewell, both as a source of power for several mills, including the gunpowder mill complexes, and as an inspiring landscape for famous artists.
