Part of the Hogsmill Open Space near Ewell
The Hogsmill Open Space borders the Hogsmill River from the Lower Mill in Ewell to the borough boundary with the Royal Borough of Kingston in Worcester Park. This photo was taken at approximately TQ 213 634 looking south.

Hogsmill River
The Hogsmill River has been given a make-over at this point as part of the South East Rivers Trust Catchment Restoration Fund project. http://www.southeastriverstrust.org/
They are removing man-made structures to improve wildlife habitats and in this case to allow fish to migrate upstream. Here at the junction with the small stream running down Green Lanes, a concrete river base and mini-weir and stone walls have been removed.
