Weybridge: Oatlands Chase
Certainly up to 1896 Victorian Ordnance Survey maps show this thoroughfare as Station Road, leading, through woods on either side, to Walton-on-Thames railway station. By the time that the 1914 edition was published, and housing development along it had begun, it had acquired its present name.

Walton-on-Thames: South Western Main Line from Sir Richard's Bridge
The railway was originally built through here in 1838 by the London & Southampton Railway, eventually becoming part of the London & South Western Railway network, and now operated by South West Trains. For those that need to know the number on the trailing unit of the four coach down slow train is 5857. Sir Richard's Bridge currently takes Ashley Road over the railway, but was originally built for Sir Richard Frederick, owner of the nearby Burwood Park Estate, to allow him access for his pony and trap to Walton and Hersham Station (as it was then called), now Walton-on-Thames Station.

Weybridge: St Mary's Church, Oatlands Park
This Grade II Listed church, with its three stage tower and separate bell tower on the roof, was built of rubblestone in 1862. The Ordnance Survey map of 1868 shows it in isolated wooded seclusion with only a couple of large houses nearby. The Church's website is here http://www.stmaryoatlands.org.uk/welcome.htm
