Walton-on-Thames: Listed buildings on Church Street
Walton-on-Thames only has a few "ordinary" buildings that merit national listing because of their architectural value. From left to right the pair of brick built shops with houses with the mansard roofs forming Nos. 13 and 15 Church Street, and the timber framed white rendered building with the Dutch gable to the right at No. 17 Church Street forms one such grouping, dating from the 17th Century. Further to the right still is No. 19 Church Street, once the Palace Cinema which opened in 1920, latterly the Regent Cinema, and now a Wetherspoons public house also called the Regent.
