Entrance to Yehudi Menuhin School
The Yehudi Menuhin School was founded in 1963 by the violinist Yehudi Menuhin to enable musically gifted children to develop their potential in stringed instruments and piano within an environment which could cater for their wider education, not just academic but social also. It currently caters for over 60 children aged between 8 and 18, drawn from around the world. This is the road entrance off Cobham Road. The Menuhin Hall referred to on the lower sign is a world class concert venue opened in 2006. The bridge in the distance is where Cobham Road crosses the M25.
