Shaw Monument
No one really knows the origin of this cylindrical tower with the crown-shaped top. It could perhaps have been used as a falconry site. It lies just outside Prestwick Airport but is easily accessible on foot.

Prestwick Airport, South Ayrshire
G-VFIT was new to Virgin Atlantic in May 2006 and is seen here in storage at Prestwick Airport after it was withdrawn from use. Since June 2020, the aircraft has been operated by European Aviation.
