Prestwick Airport, Scotland
A Laker Airways Skytrain DC10 parked on the apron of the Airport. Sir Frederick Alfred Laker (6.8.1922 to 9.2.2006) was one of the first airline owners to adopt the "no frills" airline business model that has since proven to be very successful worldwide. The Skytrain was the world's first daily transatlantic low fare scheduled service.
