Forsythia blossom at Rozelle
The early flowering Forsythia is named after the Scottish botanist William Forsyth who was a founding member of the Royal Horticultural Society. Being produced before the plant’s leaves open out, the bright yellow flowers look particularly eye-catching.

Rozelle House - Ayr
Historic mansion, now an art gallery with noted paintings, parklike grounds & a tea room. The Estate and Mansion were gifted to The Royal Burgh of Ayr by Lt. Commander John Hamilton RN (Retd) in November 1968 to be used by the townspeople for cultural and recreational activities
