The new Queen Margaret Academy building
Viewed during the January 2021 lockdown, the new building opened in October 2019. Demolition of the old building was well under way by then. For a view of the site under construction and for more information, see Image

The New Queen Margaret Academy
Part of the development of "Scotland's Schools For The Future", work is well under way on this site. The existing academy on the adjacent site was built in 1976. We can only hope that the life span of the new building will extend beyond 42 years.
