This is part of a recently-built private development on the edge of Dalrymple, accessed via Morton Drive. This area was formerly occupied by a residential caravan site.

Dalrymple Library
The community facilities at Dalrymple were built in the 1960s. The cairn shows a stone saved from the village's old school, recording that it was built in 1875.
