Here lies Andrew Richmond who was killed by bloody Graham of Claver - House. June 1679. For his adherence to the word of God & Scotland's covenanted work of reformation. Galston Parish Church viewed from the Dunblane Garden. This was created as a memorial for the tragic deaths of 16 children and their teacher at Dunblane Primary School in March 1996.

The Georgian-style church of 1809 stands on a site of a building dating back to 1252. At 120 feet high, the steeple is a prominent local landmark. The graveyard contains some Covenanting gravestones.
