Hillhead Tavern
Public house on Hill Street, by the doomed Johnnie Walker bottling plant. Owned by the Brown family since being built and sold on their retirement the premises remained as a Public House until recently. The premises were built as a replacement to a previous Public House, sited further North, of the same name to allow construction of the flats shown on the right of the image. Although the building is still standing its use has ironically changed and is now a mosque.
