The "Conference" bike, Millport
Great Cumbrae is justly renowned as a cycling island with its easy sea-level circuit and little motor traffic. For day visitors who do not bring their own bikes, there are no fewer than three cycle-hire businesses in Millport. Here the owner of "On your bike" displays his most esoteric hire machine - the "Conference" bike, one of only two in Scotland, in which seven riders sit round in a circle (as if round a conference table). A helmsman has charge of the steering and brakes.

Great Cumbrae - Millport - The Wedge
This house is reckoned to be the narrowest in the world - though as its name suggests it does widen from this ridiculously narrow frontage of just 47" (1.2m).
It was put up for sale in 2015 with an asking price of OIEO £85,000 - Article on it here https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2967197/World-s-narrowest-house-sale-85-000-47-inches-wide-really-isn-t-room-swing-cat.html
