Blackwaterfoot: the post office
The post office and general store is a little up the hill from the middle of the village. There is a postbox; it is behind the white van.

This Elizabeth II-reign postbox is set into a brick pillar which stands outside Image It is emptied finally at 2pm on weekdays and at 11:45am on Saturdays.

Bridge and hotel, Blackwaterfoot
As the name of the village is Blackwaterfoot, it will come as no surprise that the little river seen here is the Black Water.
The bridge carries Arran's coastal road over the water, with the Best Western Kinloch hotel in the background.
