Spoil Heap
Spoil Heap viewed across fields, from this distance looks like ash or slag. The 1940's Map shows ironstone pits very close by, so possibly the spoil from ironworkings.

Former colliery tip at Lambridden Farm from the air
The 1896 25 inch OS map shows the tip at "Blair Colliery No9 Pit" http://maps.nls.uk/view/82866732#zoom=4&lat=2851&lon=15261&layers=BT . It appears to be in commercial use again.
