Former Seafield School, Ardrossan, North Ayrshire
Originally built as Seafield House in 1820, the property was then rebuilt in 1858. After becoming a hotel sometime in the late nineteenth century, it became a residential school for many years, before closing in 2014. Since its closure, the building has been heavily vandalised and gutted by fire.

Quarrier Homes - Seafield School
Seafield School is a residential school for boys and girls with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties who attend either as residential or day pupils. As a result of these issues, many have been excluded from mainstream education. Seafield House was built from red sandstone at a cost of £7,500 and is now a category B listed building.
