A78 "Three Towns Bypass" near Ardrossan
The original A78 road passed through the ‘Three Towns’: Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenson; this has now been replaced by a bypass which passes on the northern (inland) side of the three towns and is dual carriageway standard.
