Maybole’s Roman Catholic school was relocated in 2023 to brand-new premises in the Community Campus. See Image Now redundant, this spacious site is expected to be used for housing.

Long spears at Maybole
Heritage Day visitors were amazed by the length of the spears carried by medieval foot-soldiers. The shortest permitted length was 12 feet, which is over 3.6 metres.
