A plaque and stone by the entrance to the Auld Kirkyard in Maybole
The top plaque commemorates the founding of the first church on this graveyard site Image] by Duncan, Earl of Carrick in 1193. The lower stone was placed in 1993 to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the founding of the church.
