Traffic On The A77 In Maybole
Maybole's Whitehall, part of the A77 through the town. The approaching lorry is trying to turn left, down Coral Glen, but can't get there because of parked cars and the white van which, in turn, is having problems getting out of the way. The traffic going away from the camera is at a standstill. Heavy traffic from the Irish ferries on Loch Ryan regularly files its way through Maybole. Local residents have campaigned long and hard for a by-pass.

Heavy traffic on the A77
Viewed from Whitehall Court looking towards the junction of the A77 with Coral Glen. Not a lot has changed since 2009 Image The volume of traffic is still high but farm vehicles and lorries are a lot bigger. Thankfully, work has started on the long-awaited by-pass.

The Wee Spout In The Glen
One of Maybole's old wells which formerly provided the town with good, clean water for many years. The Wee Spout is located in Coral Glen and carries the date 1887. There's still a trickle of water coming out.
