A Reminder, Glengarnock, North Ayrshire
Garnock Valley Sports Club opened in 1984 at the Lochshore, Glengarnock. It served as the home of Garnock Rugby Club, but eight years after it opened, the centre was shut down due to subsidence. It was demolished soon after and today all that remains is this weathered sign.

Garnock Visitor & Community Hub, Glengarnock, North Ayrshire
A new Community Hub is currently being built at Lochshore in Glengarnock. Features will include sports changing facilities, a cafe and education and workshop space. The new hub is part of the Lochshore Park Masterplan to redevelop the 250 hectare site formerly occupied by Glengarnock Iron Works and later Glengarnock Steelworks.

Lochshore Hub opened in October 2022 and features a community room for meetings, functions and workshops, as well as a community cafe. The Hub is part of the regeneration of the Lochshore site, formerly home to Glengarnock Ironworks and later Glengarnock Steelworks.
