Irvine Bank Street railway station (site), Ayrshire
Opened in 1890 by the Lanarkshire & Ayrshire Railway (part of the Caledonian Railway) as the terminus of its line from Newton via Neilston and Kilwinning (East), this station closed to passengers in 1930 and completely in 1939.
View north at the former terminus building. Round the back, the former track and platform is mainly car parking.
