Ardneil Garage, 49 St Meddans Street, Troon
Ardneil Garage traded from 49 St Meddans Street, Troon, South Ayrshire from 1955-2017. Over the years they held many franchises including Standard/Triumph, Jaguar and Leyland. From 1980 they held the Daihatsu franchise which went on to become highly successful. When Daihatsu pulled out of the European market in January 2013, a decision was made against taking on another new car franchise. Throughout the years, they also had a busy workshop and MOT bay. Ardneil Garage closed its doors in the summer of 2017, with the premises being demolished later that year. As of December 2018, the site lies vacant.
