A887, Torgyle Bridge
Torgyle Bridge over the River Moriston dates from 1823. It is a Category A listed building (LB14996 http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB14996 Historic Environment Scotland). The present structure, redesigned by Thomas Telford's principal inspector, Joseph Mitchell, replaced Telford's original bridge which had been built in 1811 but was destroyed by flood damage in 1818.
