Ose is a large but scattered township. The road in the picture is the A863.

Personal communications?
Although the red telephone box stands on the grass verge outside the fence, the post box is actually located inside the garden of this bungalow in Ose.

Ose: postbox № IV56 84 and phone
These two red objects stand alongside the A863. The postbox, unusually, is actually positioned behind the garden fence of a house, but reachable from the public side. I wonder, therefore, if this is the location of the post office - an office was established here on 1 March 1938 but closed on 30 October 1976.

Bridge works in Ose
The Allt a' Mhulaig, which is a tributary of the River Ose, crosses under the A863 in Ose. The A863 is the main road from Sligachan to Dunvegan.
Works are currently underway to replace the culvert under the road, which is clearly a major task.
