Waiting for the Fat Panda
Stevie's Kitchen in Bayfield Road, Portree, has closed for the last time. Stevie has retired.
The Chinese takeaway will reopen on 11th April 2011 trading at The Fat Panda, run by younger members of Stevie's family.
I hope the chips are as good as before.

Inside Eighteen Twenty
A view from the new gallery inside Image, the former South Church of Portree. Originally there would have been a gallery on the geographical north wall, beneath the short window at the right. This was removed to the North Church (the present parish Church of Scotland, a few minutes' walk away in Somerled Square) when the congregations were united under the Revd Alexander Black in the 1930s.
