The road which enters the photograph from the bottom is the B8083 from Elgol. The housing in the cul de sacs, centrally, is modern, and part of Broadford's recent expansion.

Memorial to James Ross, Broadford
Local man James Ross is credited with having invented the drink Drambuie in the Broadford Hotel. This memorial stands in the attractive Community Gardens on the shore in the centre of the village of Broadford.
