Broadford Market
For the summer visitor season of 2011, a small plot of land between the Co-op Supermarket car park and the Dunollie Hotel was transformed to become Broadford Market. The colourful sheds housed an assortment of craft stalls, and the Market Kitchen provided fast food. Today, in December 2011, the sheds are closed, though there is a Christmas tree, curiously contained within a giant bird cage (?) and the Market Kitchen is open for business, though customers look to be thin on the ground.

Supermarket, Broadford
Possibly topping the list of the ugliest buildings on the Isle of Skye is the Co-op supermarket in the centre of Broadford village.
Almost every visitor to Skye travels through Broadford, and the popularity of this shop is reflected by a recent significant expansion in trading area, and the petrol station has 24 hour opening.
