Railway bridge at Erbusaig
The Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh railway runs very close to the coast as it approaches Kyle of Lochalsh. Here, seen at low tide, a causeway and bridge carries the railway over Erbusaig Bay.

Erbusaig
Erbusaig was once a crofting township with easy access to the sea for fishing. That access was made a lot more tricky when the railway was extended along the coast to Kyle of Lochalsh at the end of the nineteenth century.
