Station Lane, Forres
A cut through from Tyler Street to Nairn Road. It is now not apparent why this it so called. It is explained by the fact that the original Highland Railway station was closer to the town, just at the end of Tyler Street which was originally called Station Road. Over the years, the station has been built on two sites, both further from the town, but Station Lane has retained its name. Little remains to show the original railway infrastructure.

Going, going...
The Forres Sale Rooms, Tyler Street, partially demolished. This was a listed building but planning consent was granted for it to be demolished in room of 24 new apartments. Permission has been extended at least twice, the latest being in 2015.
