Swirling waters of the Caledonian canal
In the locks, the controlled flow of water beneath the surface produces wonderful eddys and swirling patterns. I wouldn't like to fall in though!

The Caley Inn
This was once the favoured watering hole for supporters of the now defunct Caledonian FC (defunct as in merged with Inverness Thistle FC to form Inverness caledonian Thistle FC). Behind it once stood Telford Street Park, Caley's old home ground, so it was an easy trek from bar to terracing. It now seems to be undergoing a renovation. here's hoping it reopens as it was always a cosy place to have a swift half.
