25 - 27 High Street
These 18th century buildings have been restored, but unfortunately the arches were not matched to the traditional style as in Image Inside the three arches on the left, below the fine Venetian window, is the Elgin Tourist Information Centre, though it too is now (2008) doomed by cutbacks, and is shortly to close down. The central arch is one of the entrances to Masonic Close.

Greyfriars Street
The pedimented doorway on the left is the Elgin Club, and next to it is St Giles and St Columba's Church Hall, built in 1897. The remaining buildings on the north side of the street are council offices.
