One of the out-of-town developments that are successfully killing off the High Street.

Elgin City Sawmills
The demolition men have been busy here recently, but I gather that the old part of the building is to be preserved as a feature of the impending redevelopment. In spite of having a pagoda like a malt kiln, the old maps consistently mark it as a saw mill.

Fiona Elcock Centre
This empty retail unit, with ample parking, was taken over by the NHS as a vaccination centre during the Covid-19 pandemic. Fiona Elcock was an immunisation nurse who died suddenly in 2020.
