Near Tombreck and Farr, Artists Cottage
The simple sign, and stones on poles indicate a group of three Charles Rennie Mackintosh houses hidden in the Highlands. Easy to miss as on a bend in a narrow road, but the true meaning of 'hidden gem' of this architectural genius.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh Houses, near Farr
I came across these houses many years ago, but could find no reference to them at the time. I noticed a couple of years ago that finally someone has erected a sign proclaiming their wonderful designer, and that they are called Artists Cottage (in the distance) and North and South House respectively.
