Wintry road junction
Viewed from Merlewood Road, looking towards its junction with Stratherrick Road. Merlewood Road is narrow, and is for one-way traffic only. There are 'No Entry' signs at this junction. The light snowfall had occurred the previous evening.

Inverness Half Marathon, on Green Drive
Much of the half marathon route is through residential areas on the south side of Inverness. This is about 11km into the race, runners go along Green Drive, then onto Culduthel Road.
