WW2 water tank, part of an EWS
A picture of a WW2 water-tank at the Inverness Filter bunker. The tank is approx 4y x 4y x 2 yards, so approximately 6,000 gallons of water - or about 20,000 litres. As well as servicing the bunker in WW2, tank was also a local source of Emergency Water. The indoor tank - put in around the early 1990s is at https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6258050

Entrance stairs, Raigmore Emergency Bunker
Looking back up the stairs to the main door into the bunker. This entrance was built during renovations in the 1980s. It includes blast proof doors, a decontamination room, and an airlock. See the entrance from outside: Image

This small concrete hut is the main entrance to the bunker. It is not the original entrance, it was built during renovations in the late 1980s.

A collection of historic computers. The one on the left is a PDP-8/I, built by Digital Equipment Corporation, dating from 1968. And several larger computers, with magnetic tape drives.
