Northern Counties' Institute for the Blind
A prime example of how to ruin a fine building with totally inappropriate frontage. Although dating from 1881, the building is not listed, probably the reason it has ended up looking like this

Inverness Youth Hostel (former)
Distinguished building on corner of Old Edinburgh Road and Culduthel Road, was in early 80s a youth hostel. Views from here overlooking the river are fantastic.

Culduthel Road and Inverness Castle
Culduthel Road climbs the brae south from the city centre past the Castle, which is the red sandstone building on the hill. Ardconnel Street, to the right, seems to be closed while Image] is renovated.
