Eilean Chasgaig, Upper Loch Torridon
Eilean Chasgaig is a small tidal island in Upper Loch Torridon. This is close to low tide, showing the island surrounded by seaweed covered rocks and mudflats. Despite the island looking rather rocky, it has pine and birch trees growing on top, along with some rhododendron.
Torridon village is visible on the opposite shore of the loch, with the steep slopes of Liathach behind.

Taken from the rocky shore just outside Quay Lodge. A small tidal island, Eilean Chasgaig is accessible by boat or if the tide is out, by foot.
