Inverness station
Inverness station is a V-shaped affair and this is the north side, from which services for the far north line to Wick and Thurso depart. Having some time to wait for my train, I went into the refreshment room for a cup of tea. There I was approached by a figure who had clearly seen his better days many years ago. He asked me for money, on the grounds that his doctor had told him he was not allowed to drink anything except whisky.
