Buoys, anchors and rusty chains, Woolverstone Marina
Woolverstone Marina is set in 22 acres of parkland near Cathouse Point on the River Orwell, with the Cat House > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2961562 guarding its entrance. The marina offers 235 pontoon berths and 110 swinging moorings, an on-site caravan park and a sailing school. The adjoining boatyard has facilities for boat owners wanting to carry out repairs or maintenance work and there is storage for more than 250 boats, a 9.5 ton mobile crane, purpose-built lifting dock and a cradle hire.

The Cat House, Woolverstone
Built in Gothick style, the house is situated by Wolverstone marina, near Cathouse Point. It is Grade II listed and believed to have been used to aid smugglers: after the owner's pet cat had died it was stuffed and displayed in one of the windows when the coast was 'clear'.
